In Rungwe (head office of the Moravian Church in Tanzania, South Province) members of the church grow their own tea. Tea picking is done up to 30 times a year with great care. This work is mostly carried our by women. Each tea picker harvests approx. 20 kg of tea leaves which results in 5 kg of tea.
